Back to School

It's time...

We knew it was coming...

From the first day of summer break....

And now it's here...

Back to school time!

Every year, I experience the same mix of disappointment and excitement. On one hand, I'm disappointed that my summer break is coming to a close; on the other hand, I'm excited to see students, get back into a scheduled rhythm, and see people.

I've been working on other projects over the summer, but many of these explorations leak into my class. For example, I've been doing some reading on habits and emotional communication. I plan to introduce these new theoretical applications into my classes.

Other projects have included gardening, clay sculpting, metal stamping, and...okay--I've been writing, but I just love writing!

What have you been up to this summer? I can't wait to see my students and colleagues and find out!
